You are not sour.
You are not embittered. You forgive at all cost.

Meaning: Sour grapes is “used to refer to an attitude in which someone adopts a negative attitude to something because they cannot have it themselves.”⁶ This is God’s definition of sour grapes: An envious person full of spite.

Embittered means “very angry about unfair things that have happened to you”⁷.

Question: God, why do you want me to include this personal answer in this book?

God’s answer:

The root of all evil is envy.

Question: Why?

God’s answer:

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.⁸

For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every foul practice. (James 3:16)

It makes you miserable.
It causes wars. It blinds you.
Envy brings out the beast in you.
